My name is Kimmbrly, and I am so glad you are here. I am an intuitive empath & healer, aiming to be a light to other humans along their journey as I move through and share my own.
I really value helping other humans feel seen, heard & supported during times on their journey where they might be moving through things like unexpected challenges or changes and could use some support and guidance. I also aim to inspire others through guidance on how to tap into and strengthen their own individual, unique spiritual gifts because we are all born with these abilities they just need to be fostered.
I do have formal training as a mental health professional, receiving both my undergraduate and graduate degrees with honors in the field of psychology when I was in my early 20’s. I had always felt a pull towards more non-traditional aspects of the field, I was fascinated with the works of Carl Jung and the concepts of existential psychology, and as I grew older this pull expanded into more and more areas of my life.
When I moved from Spokane, WA, where I had been working as a Licensed Mental Health Professional working mainly with children and families, back to the small coastal town of Cannon Beach, OR where I grew up my plan had been to open a private practice. However, I began to observe that whenever I would try to take action or make plans regarding opening the private practice, something didn’t quite feel right.
I had observed a growing discord in how I felt about the system that I was working in to provide services and help others, that is all I really wanted to do was make a positive impact in the lives of others. But it was beginning to feel more and more like I would have to do this with rules and within a system that probably wouldn’t look to fondly on the the answer of “because my intuition guided me to” when explaining how or why you used a therapeutic modalitiy – and this was fast becoming common practice for me.
In looking back, I can see now that my spiritual gifts were trying so hard to come online and my guides were trying fiercely to grab my attention. But for many reasons, most of which are on my list to blog about lol, I was not putting two and two together and I continued to go farther and farther off the path of my soul’s true calling. I do not believe this journey ever has a final destination – I believe it is a continuous journey that takes us through many different layers of getting to know ourselves through this lifetime.
I really and truly believe that finding peace within ourselves helps encourage and bring peace to others and that is how we heal the world – it all starts within you.I’m here to help support and guide you, in whatever ways that is for your highest good! Sending so much love to you.
